About

Since 1996, the people we call Trent Vineyard have been on a journey of faith into the unknown. From small beginnings when the church began 10 ½ years ago with 10 people, the church now has a congregation of over 1,500, including some 400 children and youth.

Since September 2003, when the current building was completed, the church has continued to grow rapidly, such that now, 3 ½ years on, it is almost double the size it was then, with the warehouse currently facilitating over 100 events each month.

The church congregation

As a church Trent Vineyard is highly effective in mobilising volunteers, and around 800 people are estimated to be currently serving in activities both within the church and outside in the life of the City. A driving principle of Trent Vineyard is to serve and help the poor, disadvantaged and socially excluded. As a result, the church has established or supports numerous community projects along with social action and training programmes across Nottingham.

One such project set up by Trent Vineyard, which involves over 200 of their volunteers is called "The Arches". Using 4 arches under Abbey Bridge they provide clothing, furniture, food and support to around 2,000 people in need each year.

Demand for these services from within the church and externally within the community is high and growing and Trent Vineyard and its membership are keen to continue to develop and expand the services it offers.
